Nigerian search results for this term return codes that contradict each other, which is reasonable grounds for scepticism. The Bet9ja promotion code is YOHAIG. Here is how to verify any code before you commit.

Understanding the landscape

Different codes exist because different partners issue them. Affiliates receive a code that tags accounts registered through them. The codes are all real. They differ in who they credit, not in whether they work.

What matters to you as a bettor is that the code is live and attaches to the current offer.

How to verify a code yourself

Test 1. Does the registration page accept it? Put the code in the field on bet9ja promotion code.com. An invalid code will be rejected at submission.

Test 2. Do the stated terms match Bet9ja's own page? Check the bonus terms claimed by whoever gave you the code against the promotions section on bet9ja.com. Terms that differ wildly from that are worth questioning.

Test 3. Check what is being requested. If a source asks for payment, bank details or your bet9ja promotion code password to unlock a code, that is fraud, not affiliate marketing. The only place you should ever enter account credentials is bet9ja.com itself.

Warning signs

•

• Being asked to pay for the code.

• Anyone asking for account credentials.

• Headline figures with no wagering conditions attached anywhere on the page.

• Registration links that do not resolve to a bet9ja.com address.

• Promises of guaranteed winnings or fixed matches alongside the code.
