The most common reason Nigerian bettors miss out on the welcome offer is simple: they scroll past the Promotion Code field. Enter YOHAIG in that field before submitting. It cannot be added later.

Step by step

Step 1. Start the sign-up. Tap Register in the top right of the bet9ja promo code homepage.

Step 2. Enter your details. First name, surname, phone number, email address and a password.

Step 3. Locate the code box. Look for bet9ja promotion code Code, usually the last field before the terms checkbox.

Step 4. Type YOHAIG. Enter it in capitals. The field is not case sensitive, but capitals avoid confusion.

Step 5. Submit and verify. Complete verification before moving to the deposit stage.

Step 6. Fund the account. The minimum qualifying deposit is ₦100. Bank transfer, card, OPay, PalmPay and Quickteller all work.
